22/23 UEFA Champions League Team of the Week- Round 4
Another all-around outstanding individual performance in the UEFA Champions League round four (4) of fixtures – put together the highest-rated XI.
Liverpool, Real Madrid and Club Brugge are the only sides represented with multiple players, with the rest selected from five different sides – [Barcelona, Tottenham, Maccabi Haifa, Bayern Munich and Sevilla].
Lead in the overall star player performance is Simon Mignolet, who earned a rating of 9.6 according to sofascore following his hard work efforts in Club Brugge’s draw in Madrid.
The former Liverpool man was his side’s hero – as he denied dominant Atletico Madrid every scoring opportunity in 9 sighted saves – all from inside the box alongside 3 high claims, 2 punches and a clean sheet – in a goalless attempt.
Other high-rated stars who made the team as well include – Liverpool duo- Roberto Firmino and Mohammed – Robert Lewandowski, Omer Atzili and Antonio Rudiger.
Salah found his first hat trick of the season in Scotland against Rangers.
Lewandowski and Firmino both hopped on brace for their respective sides, with the Brazilian – an assist in addition.
Atzili’s two goals worked on Juventus in what happened to be their first win in the competition – and Rudiger – a spirited warrior in denying Shakhtar Donetsk victory in Ukraine.
