Africans have found interest in sports over the years and have seen dominating in European leagues and other parts of the world. And without further ado; here is the list of African players who have enhanced their reputation this season in the English Premier League and found themselves in the list of 20 players with the most goal involvement.
Egyptian professional footballer Mohamed Salah who plays with Liverpool is ranked first in Africa perspective and the overall EPL ranking as of this season. He’s currently the player with the most goal involvement in the Premier League and the current top scorer. With 30 goal involvement, Salah have found the back of the net on 20 occasions of which 5 were from the penalty spot and 10 resulted in assists as a right-winger. Also placed behind teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold in the assist ranking, Salah has the potential to conquer both the golden boot and the top assist provider this season.
Nigerian winger and center forward Emmanuel Dennis is ranked 2nd on the list in terms of Africa perspective and 13th in the overall PL ranking with 14 goal involvement of which nine have resulted in goals and five as assists in 28-outings for Watford as of this season.
Ranked 3rd is Sadio Mané with 12 goals and an assist in 27 league appearances. 14th on the overall PL rankings, Senegal Liverpool winger have been directly involved in 13-goals playing in the ‘Reds’ shirt. Last but not least is Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha with 10 goal involvement with Crystal Palace of which 9 were goals and one as an assist in 24 league outings.
