Emerged champions of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) in the just concluded 21-22 season -their 24th league title in club history, Asante Kotoko per reports are set to complete their first summer signing.
This follows the club’s vision of having a very competitive squad and a successful campaign next season in Africa (The CAF Champions League) and maintaining the GPL title next season.
The Porcupine Warriors are thought to be in advance talks with lower-tier side Tema Youth FC over the possibility of acquiring the signature of their winger- Evans Osei-Wusu in the ongoing transfer window -their first summer target.
The 21-year-old winger last season had an explosive campaign in the Division One League with a record of twenty (20) goals and eight (8) assists alongside twelve (12) most valuable player (MVP) honours in the process -prompting the reigning champions for a possible signing to “Kumasi”.
