Done and dusted as two finalists, thus – the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup, Liverpool’s ambition this season is to summon all trophies at their fingertips if possible.
Already scooped the EFL Cup in late February 2022 against Chelsea, and into two existing finals, the ‘Reds’ are also on the lookout for the English Premier League title as well – In all accounts a possible four trophies.
And doing so, in the EPL, Jurgen Klopp and his comrades are staying at home this week at Anfield to have a bunter with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, an encounter that will determine one of their four remaining games their fates in the league title.
Making their 35th PL appearance and a point less at the top, anything less than three points will be a huge blow way forward especially arch-rival Manchester City’s double-cross in the Champions League by Real Madrid in the return leg of the semifinals.
Reckoning both sides met in five encounters, the ‘Reds’ have a solid record against the Spurs (W4, D1) and are on a good cause to prove themselves once again although their first round this season resulted in a 2-2 experience from away.
Already won the EFL Cup, Liverpool might scoop an additional four trophies this season – the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, the English Premier League title, and the Super Cup.
Can the ‘Reds’ scoop all trophies this season?. What are your thoughts?.
