Set to begin the 2022-23 season on a high note and a test for new players -Liverpool are set to embark on a pre-season tour this summer from July 12 to July 31st, 2022 in Bangkok, Singapore, Thailand and Germany.
In preparation for the upcoming season, German tactician Jurgen Klopp will be travelling with a full squad including newcomers -Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay where they will be tested and thought to play team formation.
It also serves as justification to young talented players in the team who are eager for regular playtime -the likes of Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones, Nathaniel Phillips, Sepp van den Berg, Rhys Williams and a few others who hardly made minutes last season and some on loan.
The Reds are expected to fly today for their tour, and from the schedule fixtures sighted -they will begin their first preseason game on July 12th against league rivals Manchester United and Crystal Palace- three days after [15th July] at the Rajamangala Stadium in Thailand and Singapore National Stadium in Singapore respectively.
On July 21st and 27th, they will fly to Germany and Austria to face sister clubs- RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg at the Red Bull Arena.
And finally, end their preseason fixture in England at Anfield against France Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg.
