New Manchester United boss Erik ten Haag seems to have settled quickly at life in England and in Manchester United following a third preseason victory today against rivals Crystal Palace.
The former Ajax Amsterdam manager started the preseason campaign [as a preparation for the 2022/23 season] on a strong note, swept arch-rivals, Liverpool away by 4-0 and then a 4-1 against Australian outfit Melbourne Victory.
With high momentum in victories, the Dutchman and comrades pulled yet another spectacular performance against Crystal Palace on a 3-1 score-line, marking their third victory in a row.
Frenchman Anthony Martial who spent half of last season on loan at Sevilla graced the “Red Devils” with the first strike in the 17th minute before halftime courtesy of Diogo Dalot.
Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho then hopped on the second and third -finalizing the scores at the 90th minute through the assistance of Donny Van de Beek and Anthony Martial at the 48th and 59th minute respectively.
Joel Ward got the equalizing goal for Crystal Palace in the 74th minute.
