Reining champions of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) Asante Kotoko SC on the latest reports are set to embark on a preseason tour in Turkey.
The Porcupine Warriors had a stunning campaign last season, won their 24th league title – emerging as the most titled club in GPL history by nine points in a gap, a performance the management of the club would want to maintain or improve for the upcoming season [2022-23] as they are set to represent Ghana in Africa, the CAF Champions League.
Following this, the club management has arranged a preseason tour in Turkey in the coming month [August] to extend their reputation in the international purview as well as gain more football insights playing against the best teams.
The preseason tour is understood will begin on August 15th to the 30th [a fifteen-day arrangement].
With that being said the club is without a head coach ahead of this trip as Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum reportedly left his role last week, however, his assistant will fill in such a huge role.
