Solskjaer open to Man Utd return

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be willing to return to Old Trafford as Manchester United manager but says it “feels wrong” to talk about the job.

Solskjaer has not managed since United sacked him in November 2021 after failing to win a trophy in nearly three years at the club.

Erik ten Hag is under pressure following a slow start to the season with United 11th in the Premier League and having drawn their opening Europa League fixture.

When asked about returning to the club, Solskjaer, speaking at a Q&A at the Oslo Business Forum in Norway,  said:  “If your family asks you, you say yes every day of the week.

“It feels wrong to talk about jobs other people have. But I say yes.”
