Currently experiencing centre-back crises -Moroccan defender Nayet Aguerd joined West Ham United on a mega-deal days ago and French defender Warmed Omari out with an injury, French outfit Rennes is understood to have shown interest in the Ghanaian defender.
The 26-year-old whose current with Celta Vigo runs to 2026 is identified as the ideal replacement for Aguerd.
Per reports the Ligue 1 side has open talks to sign the defender in the ongoing transfer window and according to the transfer market he is valued at €5M.
Aaron Opoku
Currently, in pre-season with his parent club Hamburger SV in Bundesliga II -fighting for regular playtime for the upcoming season, the Ghanaian winger is thought to have attracted interest from rivals clubs Eintracht Braunschweig, Fortuna Dusseldorf and Austrian giants Rapid Vienna.
Had a sparked campaign in the third division with VfL Osnabruck on loan last season, the 23-year-old per reports is valued at €500k for any potential suitor.
Darko Boateng Gyabi
Played a significant role for Manchester City U23 side in the concluded 21-22 season helping them with the Premier League 2 title for the second time in a row, the England-born Ghanaian central midfielder has reportedly been signed from Etihad for €5.8M.
The 18-year-old signed a four-year contract with Leeds United today keeping him at Elland Road until 2026 – a reported €5.5M in surplus made by the Cityzens.
